Cracking Thai Fundamentals with Polyglot Stuart Jay Raj - Vowel Handsigns 2 of 2

Cracking Thai Fundamentals with Polyglot Stuart Jay Raj
Core Vowel Handsigns 2 of 2
http://stujay.blogspot.com
In this two part episode, we will look at many of the fundamental vowel frames in Thai and embed them into our bodies with Handsigns, mnemonics, humour and more.

The vowels covered are:
อะ อั-
อิ อี
อึ อือ
อุ อู
เอ แอ
ไอ ใอ
โอ เอา
อำ ออ

The reason I've chosen these vowels is because I believe that by using this base knowledge and extending them a little bit with the semi vowels ย (y) and ว (w), people who use this system have shown time and time again to make very accurate 'guesstimates' of what the rest of the vowels might look like - or upon seeing a new vowel, make a good guesstimate on what it might sound like.

After editing it down, I realise that I had cut the part where I described อึ and อือ in detail. I will try and make up for this in future clips.

Be sure to swing by my blog - http://stujay.blogspot.com . My Mnidcraft group in facebook will keep you up to date with upcoming Cracking Thai Fundamentals workshops, and in the near future, a new Cracking Thai Fundamentals (CTF) social network will be running with videos and other learning aids, forums, documents and more.

The temporary site is at http://thailanguage.ning.com

Thanks for swinging by and look forward to sharing more with you.
