A strange kaiju named Kanedoras emerges,, causing damage. Kanedoras begins a path of destruction, seemingly unstoppable by conventional MAC forces.

Meanwhile, Gen Otori befriends a young boy named Kazuo, who is constantly mocked and bullied for being tearful and sensitive. After a humiliating incident, Kazuo runs away, overwhelmed with shame. Gen finds him and offers guidance, telling him, “Don’t cry! You’re a man!”—a tough but heartfelt lesson Gen himself learned through hardship.

When Kazuo wanders too close to the battle zone, Gen rushes to protect him, barely saving the boy as Kanedoras attacks. Driven by both duty and his growing compassion for Kazuo, Gen transforms into Ultraman Leo and engages the kaiju.

Kanedoras proves to be a brutal opponent,. But remembering his promise to Kazuo and the responsibility he bears as Earth’s protector, Leo taps into his fighting spirit. Using his agility and strength, he manages to shatter Kanedoras’ sound-emitting horn, turning the kaiju’s own power against it. With a final Leo Kick, he destroys Kanedoras in a fiery explosion.

In the end, Kazuo, inspired by Gen’s courage and kindness, promises not to cry so easily anymore—not because crying is wrong, but because he wants to be brave like his hero. Gen smiles, knowing the boy has taken his first step toward strength.
