As her foster parents and MAC, including Gen, Momoko, and Takeshi, try to protect her, Yayoi’s lunar ties deepen. When an alien arrives to take her to the moon, Gen transforms into Ultraman Leo to intervene. Despite Yayoi’s plea to stop the fighting and her decision to return to the moon, Leo battles Kirara. In a poignant moment, Yayoi’s moon pendant breaks, and she dances before ascending to the moon on a moonbeam, leaving Leo and her loved ones behind. This episode, inspired by The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, explores themes of destiny and sacrifice.
