‘Prince William looks like a useful IDIOT!’ Why Royals should stay OUT of politics | The Reaction

In this week’s episode of The Reaction, Sarah Vine and Andrew Pierce discuss Prince William’s unprecedented royal intervention on the Gaza conflict. Sarah says the timing of the Prince of Wales’ statement is ‘mad’ and that the ONE THING the monarch cannot be seen to be doing is to try to influence parliament. Andrew says the late Queen would be ‘aghast at what he’s done’. He also says that he was badly advised and that he ‘smells’ David Cameron’s influence.

Also in the show, as the borders watchdog is sacked by the Home Office for exposing dangerous failings in the immigration system, Sarah and Andrew ask who is actually going to get to grips with controlling our borders and avoiding the sort of unrest that’s been seen in Ireland?

Sarah and Andrew also react to the row over whether chest milk from trans women is just as good for babies as breast milk, the firefighters who stood by while a driver was trapped in 4ft of flood water and whether a woman who dumped her partner after winning the lottery should split her jackpot with him.
