John and I at a hot pot restaurant; talking about English teacher salaries in China

I this video John talks about salaries and some of his experience as an American in China. Note that he mentions that salary offers can differ: some teachers are offered one salary while others get more, or they get less. Right now in Shenzhen teachers are being offered a monthly salary of 17,000 rmb (about $2700 USD) per month before tax. The after tax salary comes to about $2450.
