‘Attack on 250th Anniversary’: Coastal Commission bans Long Beach’s fireworks celebration

Political commentator Stephanie Hammil condemns the cancellation of the California Fourth of July 250th firework celebration after the Coastal Commission banned it due to environmental concerns.

“I think this is much more than just the environment to the left … every single American tradition, our pride, they are just picking away at it,” Ms Hammil told Sky News host James Morrow.

“You could make the argument that maybe fireworks aren't the best for the environment … but this is just a once-a-year thing.

“This is a needle in the haystack.

“I have a feeling this is more about … attacking our 250th anniversary.”
