An impressive tandem lift at our port in Rostock hoists the stunning portal slewing crane of type LPS 425 onto SAL’s MV Anna. The vessel’s two Liebherr CBB 4700-450 ship cranes have a combined safe working load of 900 tonnes, more than enough to handle the LPS. The crane is being prepared for its journey to India for our customer ITD Cementation India Ltd. The LPS features a lifting capacity up to 124 tonnes and a maximum outreach of 48 metres.

For those who are curious, this crane type is actually an LPS 420. We aim to be mindful of cultural norms. We therefore renamed crane model number as LPS 425 for our customers who observe certain customs.
