The Hakkas
A building in Telok Ayer houses Singapore’s oldest Hakka clan association, doubling up as a treasure trove of tangible pieces of Hakka history here. Dating back to 1822, the association aims to preserve the culture and heritage of Singapore’s fourth largest Chinese dialect group.
