Big Bear Eagle Cam ~ Mrs BB Defends Nest From Bold Raven In SLO MO 3.9.19

Mrs BB is incubating her egg when she spots a raven close to the nest. We can hear the cawing at 2:20. It makes an appearance on the lower right hand side of the cam and proceeds to perch right in front of her. Mrs BB is on alert and suddenly wing slaps it but this raven hovers and stays. She mantles the nest in a fierce posture - and this brazen raven grabs her feather and pulls it causing her to lurch forward and chase it off finally. Shadow drops down to the nest to help and her wing brushes his face. Don't mess with the Big Bear eagles!! I included this in regular time and slo mo. Thank you for watching!
