Big Bear Eagles ~ INTRUDER ALERT!! Fierce Jackie WING SLAPS Intruder OFF Nest! SLOMO! 3.2.20

What an unsettling day for Jackie & Shadow! Jackie is on the nest when she sees something and takes off. She returns to the nest and an unidentified adult eagle follows her and lands on the high perch! She gives off warning vocals and goes to incubate the eggs. She continues to give off warning vocals as the intruder drops down closer to the nest after being on the branch for 17 minutes! As the intruder tries to enter the nest, Jackie gets up and wing slaps the intruder chasing him from the nest. The intruder returns right away and Jackie continues to send out warning vocals. The intruder departs on his own to the right.

About an hour later, Jackie takes off from the nest and Shadow's vocals are heard as he flies into the nest alerting loudly. He takes off and Jackie returns to incubate the non viable eggs. More intruder action after this - stay tuned for another video to continue the saga! Thank you for watching!
