Best real estate apps to use in 2020 to buy a house:
1:18 - Realtor.com app. Some good features like prominently showing 3D tours and...well, that's about it. The app doesn't show condo fees, it doesn't show virtual tours, and it shows Contingent (Pending) properties when you are searching for Active properties.
6:55 - Compass real estate app. The Compass app is well-laid out and very user-friendly. However, the app doesn't have a lot of data on off-market properties, doesn't have virtual tour links that are clickable, and most FSBOs list their property on Zillow or Redfin so you don't see all the listings if you use the Compass app.
12:44 - Homesnap. Homesnap is the best real estate app for real estate agents. However, it is not as good for the consumer because it is a little more difficult to use. There is a lot of scrolling involved to get to useful information and the layout is not as user-friendly as other apps.
16:08 - Zillow. Zillow has by far, the most data out of all the real estate apps. It's not the best app because it's not as user-friendly as Redfin, it lacks accuracy and sometimes shows Active properties when the property is already Pending.
19:59 - Redfin real estate app. Redfin is the best app to buy a house in 2020. The app is easy to use and it has the most accurate information in the best format.
