This is my love letter to the original Rocky film. It's also one of my favorite videos I've made, but that got completely butchered by copyright years ago when I first tried to put it online. So, I'm here to give it some new life and new love, much like the film itself. Enjoy!

Yep, turns out the movie still works without all the exposition
dang, they make me cry every time I watch the movie
The moment you realize it’s 1982 and your protagonist has crossed the point of no return
when you find a way to dance in every movie you're in
back when Vin Diesel was an indie filmmaker
when the filmmakers respect the communities they're depicting
man, this show was so underrated
How gaslighting the audience for two hours made this a masterpiece
when you hire an action star to do comedy
when the comic book movie dialogue is actually realistic
when you hire stunt guys to direct the movie
when you hire a genius to compose your movie score
when you hire the author to direct the movie
when the animators are given half the time and money that disney gets
man, they should've marketed this movie better
The moment you realize it’s 2006 and your camera guy’s a magician
they gave us one of the greatest characters in movie history
when the director actually listens to feedback
The moment you realize that ain’t cgi
when you’ve lost one of your lead actors, and you have to get creative
