Rhino Heavy Duty Planetary DC Geared Motor with Drive - UART Communication with Arduino and CP2102

This video is the first in a four part video series on the Rhino heavy Duty Planetary DC Geared Motor with Driver.

The motor driver can be controlled thorugh UART, I2C, PPM through an arduino or any other communication software. The motor with driver is a very compact solution for the mechanisms where there is space contraint and compact solutions are required.

The Rhino Heavy Duty Planetary DC Geared Motors are all metal construction and have high quality base motors which are coupled with a robust and sturdy metal gearbox with upto 5 stages which can withstand massive torques and provide much better operation than the spur gear motors. Even at higher speeds the noise levels are much less compared to the worm or spur gear box motors.

We will discuss the drive commands required to control the motor via UART. Here, we have shown the UART communication using Arduino as well as with CP2102.This driver works on 5 serial commands which are S, M, D, E and Y.
