Documentary: Esa-Pekka Salonen at the University of Louisville School of Music
Distinguished composer/conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen won the Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition in 2012 for his Violin Concerto. While at the University of Louisville to receive the award, he conducted a unique three-day masterclass which united student composers with student conductors in readings sessions with the University Symphony Orchestra, Kimcherie Lloyd, director.
