'I can tell you how to revive life in Sydney' and it 'won't cost $50 million': Alan Jones

Sky News host Alan Jones has questioned whether he is the "only one worried about the emerging mentality in relation to government and the electorate".

"Since when did anyone ever think government should be paying people to have Friday lunch," Mr Jones said.

"But there will be $50 million in tomorrow's New South Wales budget to allegedly revive life in Sydney.

"I can tell you how to do that and it won't cost $50 million; end these stupid lockdown provisions; let the public look after their own health; and let business get on with their lives".

Mr Jones also assessed the recent announcement that Queensland's Chief Health Officer, Jeannette Young, is going to be the next Governor of Queensland.
