Growing Microgreens and Sprouts Part 3: Growing and Eating

We decided to try growing microgreens and sprouts to show you what’s needed, how to plant, and the end results. We set up a station in the office equipped with a grow light (which isn’t a requirement) 3 growing trays with over a dozen different seeds, and cameras running 24/7. #microgreens #growyourownfood #microgreenswithoutsoil

We also visited with local seed vendor True Leaf Market, and spoke with owner Robb Baumann to get more information and tips from a pro. Robb’s been growing microgreens for about 8 years and teaches microgreens classes. He had a lot of good information!

The biggest take-away? It’s so easy and fun it is to grow microgreens and sprouts! The list of items needed is short and cheap; you can do this on your kitchen counter whether you live in a home or condo, and we think kids would have fun joining in on the project.
