Panama City Beach has a well known secret, and if you like beaches that aren't super crowded then you need to go to shell island! We're show you the BEST way to Shell Island in this video!

Shell Island is a 7 mile stretch of underdeveloped barrier island between St. Andrew's Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Shell Island is great because, apart from the boats parked around, it's quite secluded compared to the other beaches. There are no hotels, no restaurants, or buildings. Just nature. The only way to and from the island is by a boat or watercraft.

Here you get a great chance to see marine life, including bottle nose dolphins that frequent the area. We happened to see a sea turtle as well! You can also hike inland to explore the 7 miles of island habitat.

We rented a sailboat through Airbnb this weekend to sail out to the island. We're going to sleep on the boat for the night and explore the island the next two days. Our captain, captain Anderson, made the trip relaxing and enjoyable.

Best way to see St. Andrew's State Park is with a bike. Ryan owns Bikes, Bagels Brew and takes visitors throughout the park while providing bagels, coffee (and other beverages), and a great history lesson of the park. He even pays for your admission into the park!

If you want to see the St. Andrews State Park on your own, this is the admissions fee. Also get there plenty early. A line of cars usually forms at the single entry gate.

Admission fee for the park:
$8 per vehicle (2 to 8 people).
$4 single occupant vehicle.
$2 pedestrians, bicyclists, extra
