The Virginia Safari Park is wildlife conservation. They care for hundreds of animals, including the very rare king cheetah 🐆 , rhinos 🦏 , and giraffes 🦒 !

You can feed all kinds of animals on the safari!
The drive-thru is about 180 acres and there are hundreds of animals to feed. From llamas and Scottish Highland cattle to huge bull elk, deer, and ostrich.

Once you're done with the drive-thru, head to the safari zoo to feed the giraffes!
They’ll take leaves of romaine lettuce right from your hand with their long, black tongues! You can purchase the lettuce leaves at the gift shop or on the viewing platform.

The bird sanctuary is another must-stop in the zoo! In the aviary, you'll get surrounded by colorful birds who will perch right on your shoulder or hand if you feed them.

Our last stop was Natural Bridge State Park. For $9 you can explore one of Virginia's wonders.
Natural Bridge is a geological formation comprising a 215-foot-high natural arch with a span of 90 feet. It is situated within a gorge carved from the surrounding mountainous limestone terrain by Cedar Creek, a small tributary of the James River.

The safari park is only open seasonally, and it gets PACKED! You’ll want to plan on getting there early. The park is seasonal, but general admission will grant you all-day access to the park. You can find park hours and tickets on their website.

Natural bridge on the other hand, is usually always open, but this is another location you’ll want to get there early, especially if you want to take pictures.
