The Campo Tornado

On May 31st 2010, one of the most spectacular tornadoes of the US season descended just a few hundred metres from our UK storm-chase team. This video documents the day-long life cycle of its parent supercell thunderstorm, with plentiful timelapse footage, culminating in the tornado which touched down near Campo, SE Colorado.
