The Most Powerful Nuclear Bomb

On October 27, 2023, the United States Department of Defense has announced its plans for a new Super Nuclear Bomb.
The Nuke is called B61-13, an improved version of B61-12 which was successfully tested with the US Air Force F-15E in June 2020.
The B61-13 is a nuclear gravity bomb designed to be deployed from aircrafts including the recently unveiled $692 million B-21 Raider Stealth Bomber.
The B61-13 is the 13th modification of the original B61 bomb but with enhanced use, modern safety, security features and a guided tail kit that increases targeting precision and accuracy, ushering in a new era of nuclear weaponry.
The bomb is estimated to be 360 kilo newtons, roughly 24 times bigger than the nuke called “Little Boy” that destroyed Hiroshima and 14 times bigger than the nuke called “Fat Man” that destroyed Nagasaki during World War 2.
