The Bataan Nuclear Power Plant | Why the electricity rate in the Philippines is so expensive?
The Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) started construction in July 1976, located in Morong, Bataan. It was the first to be built in Southeast Asia.
The BNPP was originally designed for two - 620MW Pressurized Water Reactor but was downgraded to one due to high cost of construction.
I stand corrected: 7,641 islands and not 7,107 as mentioned in the last part of the video
What happened to it and why it was never opened?
