Meet the leakage detectives
These guys take finding leaks very seriously, and that often means hunting them down in the dead of night. Some leaks on our water network can be seen, and some can be heard using specialist equipment - but when all else fails we call in the Intensive Leakage Investigation Team. Working late at night when water demand is lowest they will divert a water main through a meter so they can track every drop that goes through a section of pipe. The data helps them find the really tricky leaks - and helps us save water, energy and the environment.
