Cooking Delicious FILIPINO CHICKEN SOUP With FIRE! (NOT PINIKPIKAN)

What a delicious Filipino Ifugao style chicken soup! This may be a simple soup, but it is super unique!

Known locally as "Inlagim", what makes this soup different in Ifugao is how it is prepared. The locals literally burn the feathers off of a chicken and clean it out into a ball. All that is added is some salt and ginger...

Chicken Soup local style!

Personally I really liked this Ifugao soup! I was really appreciative that my friends prepared this for me! Oh, and in this video you will also meet a man named Marlon. He is working hard to help preserve and share local history in Ifugao. He is part of a group called "Save The Ifugao Terraces Movement".

If you find yourself visiting Kiangan... make sure to stop by the Indigenous Peoples Education Center (IPED), and drop a donation!!

What a great day in Ifugao!
