Jaywalking Pedestrian Almost Gets Killed!

How not to cross a street.....

1. Cross illegally no where near a Crosswalk or a set of Traffic Lights.
2. Look at the "opposing" traffic not the "oncoming" traffic when you step into traffic.
3. Walk right in front of a truck because you are an idiot!

This man nearly lost his life because of his stupidity. Don't be a statistic. Cross at the lights or at a Crosswalk and if you have no choice but to cross a road without the previous safeguards LOOK AT ONCOMING TRAFFIC FIRST BEFORE WALKING INTO ROADWAY THEN WHEN SAFELY TO THE CENTER LOOK AT OPPOSING TRAFFIC not the other way around! Then, and only then, cross when it is safe to do so.

This guy was literally 20 feet away from the traffic lights where he could have crossed safely. If he had not seen me and stepped back at the last minute he would have surely been killed or injured severely!

Do not assume the driver of the vehicle sees you or knows what you are doing and remember even if you do have right of way you will lose if you get hit by a vehicle!
