Here's Jennifer Holliday winning over a tough crowd in Texas in 1986(?)(They really didn't know who she was...it was A Texas Celebration she was there because she hails from Houston))She came out to scant applause for her first song(not shown here) and then sang And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going)....by the time she took in that last big gulp of air for the last note there were already patches of standing o's. Really a great performance!!~
