Why Gaddafi Is Unhappy

The outgoing African Union Chairman Muammar Gaddafi leaves the seat a sad man. His efforts to retain the seat following his one year stint were thwarted after failing to marshal support for a United States of Africa, his pet subject. His successor President Bingu Wa Mutharika, has seemingly chosen to ignore that vision and instead hype the need to end unconstitutional governments with food security coming in second on the list of his priorities.
