Standing with the Rohingya Muslim community

The World Jewish Congress has welcomed the United Nations Human Rights Council’s adoption of a resolution strongly condemning the alleged systematic and gross violations of human rights and abuses being committed against the Rohingya Muslim community and other minorities in Myanmar. Lauren Rose, WJC's Representative to the UN in Geneva, delivered a statement to the floor reiterating the call of WJC President Ronald S. Lauder to “safeguard the rights of all minority communities” and describing the crisis “a blight on our collective humanity.” WATCH:
