Amazing Full Day Planespotting at St Maarten, Princess Juliana Airport SXM (08/01/19)

So my first full day in what is probably every plane enthusiasts idea of paradise. From dawn until dusk planespotting at St Maarten!
The first shots of the Amerijet 767 were filmed at just after 7am and after some rainfall over night that certainly dried off the runway. I decided to walk down to Simpson Bay after the departure of the Amerijet which lies in parallel to the runway as opposed to behind it, so there's some shots taken from there which is a slightly different "less common" view of aircraft at SXM lets say. But come midday I headed back round to the infamous Maho Beach to get all the afternoon arrivals from the US, Canada & Europe from up close & personal!

Amerijet 767, American Airlines 737's & 757, Delta 757 & 737, KLM A330, JetBlue A320, Corredon 737 (on hire to Insel Air to/from Curacao), Copa Airlines 737, Westjet 737, United 737, Liat & Air Antilles ATR's, Winair and many private jets & light aircraft.

All in a days work at St Maarten!
Some incredible shots, some beautifully low landings and some rather hefty jetblast which I got caught in quite a bit. Take note if standing behind a KLM A330...
