A new city and a new airport for me. The notorious San Diego, Lindbergh International Airport. San Diego airport is well known for being the busiest single runway in America and is also quite well known for its central location in downtown San Diego. Meaning that aircraft arriving have to fly right across the city, over the hillside and just above several multi-story buildings before heading down onto the runway. All of this combined creates some very good scenes to film in.

All filmed within an hour! Check out the missed approach by one of the Alaskan ERJ170LR's. The Air Canada Rouge A321 was lined up on the runway but didn't commence its take off roll for quite some time, resulting in the go around of the Alaskan.

Unfortunately I didn't have my tripod with me in San Diego so all footage is filmed handheld so apologies if its shaky in places.
