Batmobile! WTF!?

I went out for a drive this morning and came across something I never expected to see, a real life Batmobile. This must have been some sort of Batmobile replica or Batmobile kit car, or perhaps it was batman himself driving it I don't know...

I was just out for a morning cruise in the Fall weather, it was fairly cold, mid 40's (the drag radials are doing surprisingly well in the cooler weather so far btw). After about an hour or so of cruising I was about to take a right hand turn, and as I pulled up to the light there was a freaking original batmobile sitting to my left. So I pulled a quick U turn and hunted him down, luckily I caught him, and even more luckily he was headed to a car show where we could get up close to the Batmobile and see it in person.

The Batmobile replica sounded wicked. I wish I caught more of the sound on camera, but he turned it off shortly after arriving to the car show. I don't know if this one shoots flames or anything fancy, and my best guess is the guns on the Batmobile are for looks, but who knows, maybe they shoot banana peels and red shells for all I know.

Anyway, just thought I'd share this original Batmobile kit car I came across, it's not every day you see one of these on the road!

And speaking of kit cars, one of these days I'd like to build my own custom car, not one like this, but something really light weight with a big engine in it, a one of a kind!
