This week's news video is packed with topics, including a follow-up to last week's new report about a proposed replacement for "nm" as a method of measurement. With full awareness of the irony, we then go on to talk about NVIDIA and AMD components on various TSMC 5nm and 7nm nodes -- but we have to work with what's being used for today, at least, and that's what it is. NVIDIA RTX 3000 series discussion has been swirling the rumor toilet for a while now, and at this point, we're just waiting to see if anything floats up to the top as fact. Because that's how rumor toilets work. The RTX 3080 Ti and 3080 have no current indication of a presence at GTC, but NVIDIA could surprise us; more likely, however, the focus will be on the unveil of a new architecture, potentially a new DGX supercomputer, likely new business or Tesla-class parts, and then maybe some sort of gaming discussion. We'll see. Other than this, we're talking news on AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 CPUs, AMD chipset and socket roadmaps, and the FCC being forced to surrender IP addresses linked to its fake internet comments.
