Arm Cortex-A78 and Cortex-X1 Revealed: Most Powerful Cortex CPUs Ever

Arm has announced not one, but two, new Cortex CPU designs: the Arm Cortex-A78 and the Arm Cortex-X1. The A78 is the expected roadmap CPU, whereas the X1 is a powerhouse surprise I wasn't expecting. Both CPU designs will appear in 5nm SoCs in 2021.
