One of my favorite dinnerplate varieties 🫶🏻

Oh Penhill Watermelon... you are just ridiculous.
She is hands down one of my favorite dinnerplate dahlias in the entire field.

Big, bold, perfectly formed blooms that stop people mid-row every single time. Her coloring is pure summer — juicy watermelon tones with soft pinks and corals layered through, and those huge faces that make you feel like you're holding a bouquet in one stem.

She grows tall, throws out substantial blooms, and brings that real "wow" factor that dinnerplates are loved for. She's not subtle, she's not trying to blend in, and she absolutely doesn't need to.

This is one of those varieties that reminds you why you plant dahlias in the first place. A total showstopper and a forever favorite for me. 🫶🏻
