The last day of my solo backcountry camping canoe trip of the Serpentine Loop in Kawartha Highlands. Although this canoe trip can be completed in a day or two, I took four days to go out and explore this area of Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park.
This was the first time visiting Kawartha Highlands, a provincial park located north of Toronto, in Ontario Canada.
If you haven't already watched it, you can see day one of the trip here: https://youtu.be/RkWYxe-dIrA
Kawartha Highlands is the largest provincial park south of Algonquin Park and offers a unique backcountry camping experience.
In this video I paddle from Serpentine Lake out of the park. Along the way I traverse a long portage and end up shutting down due to rain and a strong head wind.
I hope you enjoy this backcountry camping (trip-report style) video of my solo canoe trip of the Serpentine Loop in Kawartha Highlands Wilderness Park.
If you do, please give it the thumbs up and leave a comment.
Thanks - Jason
