KHEDIVE OF EGYPT TIARA

Princess Margaret of Connaughtwas the elder daughter of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, third son of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, and became the Crown Princess of Sweden when she married the future King Gustaf VI Adolf.
This tiara was gifted to her by the khedive of egypt, and was one of the most extravagent wedding gifts she recieved on her wedding day.
The Crown Princess wore the Khedive of Egypt Tiara on many occasions and portraits.
She wore the piece not only as a tiara, but also as a stomacher or a dress ornament.
the tiara was worn by the princess for the 1913 wedding of her only brother Prince Arthur of Connaught to Princess Alexandra, 2nd Duchess of Fife.
Unfortunately the crown princess passed away 30 years before her husband's accession to the throne of Sweden,while beign eight months pregnant with her sixth child. 
The princess's jewellery were devided equally between her 5 surviving children, and the Khedive of Egypt Tiara was passed downto her only daughter, then 10 year old Princess Ingrid.
Just as for her mother, the tiara became one of the favourites of princess Ingrid,and she wore it on many occasions inluding to her 21st birthday celebration .
In 1935, Princess Ingrid married Frederick IX of Denmark,and became the crown princess of Denmark,and brought the tiara with her to Denmark.
Queeen Ingrid had the habbit of loaning the tiara to her relatives,including to her cousin, PrincessMargaretha of Sweden and Denmark,and to her niece, Princess Margaretha of Sweden.
The tiara was loaned to Queen Ingrid's youngest daughter, Princess Anne-Marie in 1964,when she married  King Constantine II of Greece, 
Ingrids eldest daughter, then Crown Princess Margrethe also wore the khedive tiara in 1967 when she married Henri de Laborde de Monpezat.
Princess Benedikte,the second daughter of Ingrid wore the tiara in 1968, when she married Richard, 6th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg
Tiara was also loaned to Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg - the grand daughter of Queen Ingrid, for her first wedding to Count Jefferson von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth in 1998.
Queen Ingrid wore the tiara till her passing away in 2000,and it was passed down to her youngest daughter, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece.
Anne marrie wore the tiara on several occasions,including to the wedding of Prince Joachim of Denmark - the youngest son of Queen Margaretha.
She also loaned the tiara, after few modifications,to her niece,Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg in 2011 to wear as her wedding tiara.
The magnificent Khadive of Egypt tiara currently belongs to Queen Anne Marrie - the queen
consort of Greece.
