The Florida Forest Service, a division of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, manages more than 1 million acres of state forests, protects 26 million acres of public and private lands from the devastating effects of wildfire, and provides support to Florida's landowners through support programs that promote sustainable and healthy forests.
