Digging through the Beck Technologies video archives, we stumbled upon some interesting footage of an Sonic Death Ray test. No word on the effective lethality of this device, but research into the subject showed that the US Navy conducted tests along the same line in the 60's and 70's using parabolic dishes, and small pulsejets, with the result being able to instantly incapacitate a serviceman at 200 yards with excruciating pain with a narrowly expanding long range beam of acoustic energy!
