Pengana Private Equity Trust (ASX: PE1): Delivers strong monthly performance

Pengana Private Equity Trust (ASX: PE1) has delivered a strong monthly performance generating a return of 3.4%.

A key highlight was the successful realisation of PE1’s fourth-largest portfolio holding Kroll Bond Rating Agency, at a premium to carrying value. In aggregate, total proceeds represent an almost 4x multiple on invested capital. The gains from this transaction will be reflected in the March 2026 quarter valuations and incorporated into PE1’s Net Asset Value (NAV) on or around 30 June 2026.

During the month, PE1 also executed several investments including:
🔹Functional Devices, Inc., a co-investment in a leading U.S. manufacturer of electronic components for building automation and lighting control systems. This company holds an estimated ~30% market share across key product categories and generates over 80% of its revenue from recurring and predictable retrofit and maintenance activity.

🔹MC Aviation, a credit investment providing exposure to a diversified portfolio of mid-life narrowbody aircraft leased to a broad range of airlines. The portfolio is initially seeded with ten aircraft and is currently expected to approximately double in value over the next 6–12 months.
