How to Make a Homemade Candle From Babybel Cheese Wax

This is a fun project on How to Make a Homemade Candle from Babybel Cheese Wax. I came up with this method by looking at a pile of wax from our snacks on the kitchen table and figured we could make it into something useful. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes. The candles burn for 20 minutes!

***While researching one of my candle experiments I found out that the cheese wax I have been using is mainly paraffin-based wax. Unfortunately paraffin wax burns somewhat dirty and some studies show that the fumes may cause cancer... so I won't be making candles with this wax anymore. Instead I'll be using wax from my beehives. The information on how to make the candles is solid, but I can't recommend using this wax for this purpose anymore. I left these videos up for entertainment purposes and so that others who are contemplating doing this project will know the safety concerns.***
