Crispy Chicken Tender
Ingredients for Dry Batter:
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Salt 1/2 tsp or to taste
Dried Thyme 1 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Ingredients for Chili Mayo Sauce:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Ketchup 1 ½ tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Chicken Marination:
K&N’s TenderBrest 700 g
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Oregano 1 tsp
Dried Basil 1 tsp
Ingredients for Crispy Chicken Tender Preparation:
Marinated K&N’s TenderBrest (Strips)
Dry batter
Chilled water 4 cups
Oil (for frying) 3 cups or as required
Directions for Dry Batter Preparation:
4. In a bowl, add flour, salt, white pepper, thyme, and mix it well. Your dry batter is ready.
Directions for Chili Mayo Sauce Preparation:
5. In a bowl add, mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, red chili flakes, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice and mix it well. Your Chili Mayo Sauce is ready.
Directions for Chicken Marination:
1. Thaw K&N’s TenderBrest as per instructions on the pack.
2. Cut K&N’s TenderBrest into half.
3. Take a bowl add K&N’s TenderBrest, garlic powder, red chili flakes, soy sauce, black pepper powder, white pepper powder, salt, oregano, dried basil and mix it well. Marinate for 30 mins.
Directions for Crispy Chicken Tender Preparation:
6. Take marinated K&N’s TenderBrest Strips and coat them well in dry batter and dip in chilled water for 2 seconds. Coat them again in dry batter and shake off excess flour.
7. Then deep fry the coated K&N’s TenderBrest strips until golden brown and crispy.
8. Your Crispy Chicken Tender is ready. Serve with Chili Mayo Sauce and enjoy.
Prep time: 15 mins (excluding marination time)
Cooking time: 15-20
Serve: 4-5
