16 habits for learning languages
16 Habits for language learning
This video is about the various habits you can get yourself into on a daily basis that will help you automate your language learning.
We all wish we had those floppy disks from The Matrix so we could just upload languages into our brains with no work or effort. Unfortunately, technology has not caught up with science fiction yet, but there are things that we can do in our daily life that will help us learn languages more efficiently, and with WAY less effort than before when we were just memorizing vocabulary words by rote.
This video is 16 habits that I have personally used while learning Spanish, French, and Esperanto, and I recommend you try these out no matter what language you're learning.
Even if some of these habits feel silly to you, it's still useful to try out new ideas. For me, language learning is one big experiment, and I'm always trying to find new techniques for hacking language learning that work best for me. Feel free to modify any of these techniques so they work best for you.
