"The Bridgefields is an area within the Shire, in the eastern region. The fields north of The Water and north-west of the Brandywine Bridge are known as the Bridgefields. The road from the Great East Road northwards to Scary and Greenfields beyond, runs through this area, just west of Budgeford.

Budgeford is a settlement located within the area of Bridgefields in the Shire Also known as "Budgeford on The Water" this village holds the ultimate barn-yard atmosphere in all of the Shire. You will probably find just as many pigs in Budgeford as you will Hobbits. Laying by the road that connects Scary with the Great East Road it became a trade and crafting crentre for hobbits across all farthings. Yet today, travellers find services that meet their basic needs." (wiki.com)
