100000 Muslims celebrate Eid el-Fitr in Northeastern China / Xining Day 2

On our second day in Xining we had the opportunity to attend the Eid el-Fitr prayer. Eid el-Fitr is the festival that is celebrated after the end of Ramadan. There were hundreds of thousands of people praying together peacefully in the streets of Xining. What a wonderful experience! Except that there was no prayer space for women!!! That sucked.
