Hedley Monk Cave (BC, Similkameen)

In the 1990s a Buddhist monk was living for several years in a cave house located up the river from Hedley, BC. Although not easy to find, it is possible to seek out the remains of this Hedley legend. The Hedley Creek (20 mile creek) has historical significance as well, being a route to the former Kettle Valley Railway and an area of intense mining in the mid-20th century.

Near the start we see Mascot Mine high up on the mountain. We went there the next day, see here - https://youtu.be/omFeOMwJEiQ
