1970 CATERPILLAR 951 A 63 K TRAXCAVATOR

Time is now spent assessing, cleaning and painting engine parts. The thermostat is not working as it should do and not opening and closing. The intake filter housing needed extensive welding and plating as the bottom of it had corroded through. The sump will come early next week as I compile a list of parts that I need from James Gaughan . Next week I hope to renew hydraulic suction side hoses, renew conduit and adjust the left hand track . Lots to do , about 25 % of the work done.
