Outdoor VLOG 76: Brief Talk about the Downside of Completing Goals
I've been in a contemplative state lately regarding goals, specifically my feelings toward achieving them. Basically, this thing you've been doing for so long (months, years) has come to a close. Now what? Sometimes it's really hard to let go of being in that "world" or "zone." Other times it's, like, good riddance that's over! Regardless of outcome, however, I always feel a slight sense of loss when they're finished because it was something that mattered to me (but is no more). Don't worry, I don't get too deep into it. But I have been feeling that certain sense of loss that comes with completing something.
Just know that I've also provided some nice footage and photos of this spring's outdoor activities. It's been quite beautiful in Tahoe these past few weeks!
For additional information about hiking during the spring at Lake Tahoe, read the following articles at Tahoe Trail Guide:

I've produced this collection of articles and videos about backcountry travel and exploration with the beginner and intermediate adventurer in mind. This is the demographic for whom I most often served while working in the Lake Tahoe outdoor recreation industry. In essence, these informational projects I create and publish are extensions of the many conversations we've had over the years.
Please note that, although I encourage you to venture out of your comfort zone, you need to know your limits and when to turn back.
