Hiking Arran I Whiting Bay to Brodick I 23kms on the Arran Coastal Path

Away from the mountains in the north of Arran, there are plenty of other beautiful places to visit and explore.
On this hike we started at Whiting Bay on the east coast and after visiting the impressive Glenashdale Falls, we walked through the forest and down to Lamlash. The 'No Take Zone' between Lamlash and Holy Isle has been successful in allowing the seabed to recover from years of over-fishing. It now boasts a healthy and sustainable marine environment and we saw a couple of common seals 'hauled out' just off shore 😃
From Lamlash Bay we hiked over the Clauchland Hills with views over Brodick Bay towards the mountains and across to the mainland.
After crossing the Brodick-Lamlash road we joined the path to bring us gently down to the coast at Brodick and a late lunch 😋
