Our new favourite 4x4 area? Impangele 4x4 Route and Mountain Lodge.

Situated just outside of De Doorns, here in the Western Cape of South Africa, the Impangele 4x4 Route is 4WDer's Paradise!
With riverbeds, old/unused railways/roads, the oldest railroad tunnel in South Africa and trails cutting through the gorgeous landscape to test your 4x4 out on, you could happily explore here for days!
Surrounded by 360 degree mountain views, beautiful plant, wildlife and birdlife, it's a feast for your eyes as much as it is for your adventurous soul!

There is also fantastic accommodation right at the start of the trail at the Impangele Mountain Lodge.
All proceeds go to a worthy cause, helping out homeless people and animals in the area.
