Journal Entry - March 13th, 1625

Today, I constructed a proper dwelling to encourage the villagers to, well… expand their numbers. A crew of strong, capable hands will be valuable in the days to come. They seem content enough, though I swear they give me odd looks. Perhaps they sense I’m the one who "encouraged" this arrangement. I don't like writing about this so I'll move on-

With that settled, I ventured into the depths once more, determined to find a proper prize. Sure enough, I landed on some more diamonds. Enough for a fine pickaxe, sturdy and unyielding. With this, the real work begins.
