KEFALONIA GREECE Travel Vlog TOP SIGHTS - Lake MELISSANI, SAMI, DROGARATI Cave & ARGOSTOLI!

In this travel vlog we explore some of the top sights in Kefalonia including the famous Lake Melissani and cave which is an impressive natural wonder just outside the popular tourist town of Sami. It’s easy to see why so many visitors come here, the caves are fascinating and drifting around the crystal clear lake on a row boat is beautiful!

Afterwards we grab some lunch in the town of Sami before heading off to explore the drogarati caves, which were huge and although really cool to wander around, it was also pretty scary being down inside a huge cave as we had it all to ourselves the whole time!

We finish the day back in Argostoli the capital of Kefalonia where the story of the fresh lake water we saw in Melissani comes ‘full circle’ as we stand at the point the water travels around the island on a two week journey.

We then enjoy the views from the Argostoli lighthouse Theodoroi, which gives a romantic view at night across to the Peninsula of Paliki and the island of Vardianoi.
